Heat wave....

Lately the temps have failed to drop below 96.....well I retract that statement there were afternoon and evening thunderstorms yesterday that allowed the mercury to drop a few degrees. Not sure if hiking through floods in flats was worth the lower temps, okay, okay yes it was! All our yards needed desperate hydration. On my drive back to beach land my car reached 102, then on Monday it was at 106......can you believe that?

*Interesting tidbit--old school info on heat pumps--typically they are designed for a 20 degree cool differential and 50 degree heat differential so if it is 100 degrees outside the coolest your home can be in 80. Wow?? With that being said, I started thinking about ways to beat the heat and fans seem to be the answer.
