Roses are red.

Hands up of everyone who is watching The Bachelorette. I am! It is definitely a guilty pleasure of mine and I have been glued to the tube for the past hour and a half. Why ABC picks some of these dorks is beyond me, but it's bound to make for better TV later in the season. However, I like to pretend the whole thing will work out happily ever after....even though we all know it will come crashing down into a horrible reality TV mess. I have one vote for the entire show and that is Phil from Chicago. His vitals, you ask? Well thanks to ABC we have the skinny.*Age: 30
*Occupation: Investment Manager
*Hometown: Elmore, OH
*Resides in: Chicago, IL
*What does he admire most: His grandparents who are happy in love and life
*What he likes to do for fun: Triathalon/ironman training, going out for dinner, drinks and dancing, golf and road trips
*What he considers his three best attributes: His personality, intelligence and stability
*Tattoo Count: 0....Love how they randomly threw in tattoo count......

Kell on Earth...

Yes, guilty I am of reality TV viewing....The Hills, The City, The Bachelor, Real Housewives of NYC, most recently Kell on Earth and many more.....now if you've been paying attention Whitney Port started as Lauren Conrad's comrade on The Hills, then moved to The City to work with Kelly Cutrone of People's Revolution who now stars in Kell on Earth......ahhhh the incest that is lineage of the reality TV. Well Kelly has since written a book (so did Lauren Conrad) and I am not one to buy celeb books or subscribe to the notion of self help but there are some good tips.....here are a handful via an email to Whitney.....- Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.
- Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want.
- When you say, 'I'm sorry,' look the person in the eye..
- Never laugh at anyone's dream. People who don't have dreams don't have much.
- In disagreements, fight fairly. No name calling.
- Don't judge people by their relatives.
- Talk slowly but think quickly.
- When someone asks you a question you don't want to answer, smile and ask, 'Why do you want to know?'
- Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
- Say 'bless you' when you hear someone sneeze.
- When you lose, don't lose the lesson !
- Remember the three R's: Respect for self; Respect for others; and responsibility for all your actions.
- Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship..
- When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.
- Smile when picking up the phone. The caller will hear it in your voice..
- Spend some time alone.

Despite Kelly's cynical, cold nature she does have some good advice...who knows? Maybe it's just advice that sells....

Flying high....

Okay, I admit it my guilty pleasure has to be reality television....every year I get sucked in by these shows and this year is no different--The Bachelor got me again! I don't even know why I watch it I could care less whether or not these girls get engaged, get a rose or go home it is all going to end in shambles anyway. I guess what's funny is what these girls say or do on national television to 1. Get the guy or 2. Get publicity.....and lastly I'd like to know where these girls' clothing allowances come from? Last year Jillian was spotted wearing DVF duds and this year Rozlyn Papa on the night she was outed and ousted was wearing a Burberry dress. The same gold, glittery number Sienna Miller had donned which likely sold for upwards of $2k.....really Roz I know you are a model, but you are not Giselle.
