Antler attack...
If only I had jumped on the deer trend sooner I could have snagged antlers until prices jumped through the roof. I am in love with these mounted and hung on high dramatic walls.

Deer me.
Loving this wall paper from Barneby Gates. Perfect for a small space or maybe a trade for antlers in a masculine room.

Shedding layers.
Look closely now, do you spot the loverly deer sheds? Look some more....there you go. I LOVE the use of these antlers, not only are they beautiful and on point with the trend, but they are functional as well easily used as a towel rack. Yes, please!!
My guest bath lacks a towel rack and by golly I think this should be a perfect complement to the space......now I just need to con some unsuspecting gentleman into getting me some horns....hmmmmmm.......

Monday....Monday...
Monday is starting off slowly thankfully so I have a little free time for browsing and came across a design love: animal hides for rugs. Certainly some people may see this as barbaric and cruel, but hey I haven't eaten beef in a good eight months, can't a girl have a cowhide?

Paper weight....
Stumbled upon some cool paper collages today...although I think I've blogged them before. The artist is Helen Musselwhite. The paper is cut, folded and scored to yield various patterns and textures. And I can't help but love a good deer scene. Check her out here.

Deer Diary....
Hopefully we have all eaten the last bites of our holiday turkey. Somehow I only got two bites and {technically} I had two Thanksgivings. Well one of which involved a dinner table and the other of which involved me arriving at my parent's house the day after scavenging the refrigerator only to find one measly portion of leftover holiday turkey. Bummer! I guess there's always Christmas.....Let the wild rumpus start!

Season's meetings....
Season's by Cannon Falls has some of the most beautiful Christmas designs. I was trying to find some ornaments online this weekend when I stumbled across the Company's website. I love the long taper candles hanging from the chandelier and the chair of holiday swag. The bottom picture was too Christmas-y not to include (even though it isn't Cannon Falls).
