Romancing the stone.

Movies for a Monday. I have been in love with Katie Holmes and design collaborations ever since Dawson's Creek met American Eagle and J.Crew....well they have done it again. Based on the book by Galt Neiderhoffer, The Romantics, is the the story of a group of friends with an incestuous dating history that reunite for a wedding and you can only guess what happens. Another chick flick, but less sappy....and what's not to love about Katie, Josh, Anna, Adam, Elijah, and Malin. A must see in my book!....to their glittering future.

If I had a $1000 dollars...

Forget a million dollars, if there was a grand laying around I might be tempted by this vintage Chanel beauty. I guess rainy days are good for one thing-shopping. Shopbop has launched an entire line of vintage Chanel pieces and to quote Rachel Zoe. I die.The one thing better than vintage is vintage Chanel. The only way to be irreplaceable is to be different and these pieces are certainly one-of-a-kind.

Today is a gift.

That's why they call it the present....well we all know that it is better to give than receive and if you give a little compliment you may get something in return. Sure I gush over good design, fashion, style and whatever floats my boat...one of these rants cited Heidi Merrick as the designer du jour. Tracking my blog traffic today I noticed someone entering via Heidi's site....a little more backtracking and I found that blogs are featured on the press page here!! Yours truly! I'm so excited {and I just can't hide it!}! Granted it's a small victory and my blog is a little over a year old, but gosh darn it, it certainly is flattering ;)

Season's meetings....

Season's by Cannon Falls has some of the most beautiful Christmas designs. I was trying to find some ornaments online this weekend when I stumbled across the Company's website. I love the long taper candles hanging from the chandelier and the chair of holiday swag. The bottom picture was too Christmas-y not to include (even though it isn't Cannon Falls).
