Fall back.

Sometimes there is little more than a pair of boots or a chill in the air that can put me in a good mood. I love these farm fresh fall looks via Country Living. They take the beachy feeling right out of me...and leaving me with a smell of pumpkins, the crunch of fall leaves and the hopes of Christmas lights twinkling in my not so near future.I need this skirt....and for those of you thinking that my wardrobe is comprised of pants and platforms, guess again. ....heeled Hunter rain boots? Yes, please.

Room redux.

Some things I heart.

1. Stock the bar by reusing a vintage store display as a bar cabinet.2. Black and white and red all over. Loving the simplistic color scheme of the space.3. Love the tufted velvet couch. Love the stripe chairs. Love the books. Love the silver vase holding the pink flowers and last but certainly not least love love love the wall art. A simply silver sheen adds drama to the space.4. Blue is all you need. Wonderful pattern on the chest of drawers.5. The octopus' garden. Lately, thanks to Sea of Shoes and Atlantis Home. I must have some Octopus artwork--stat!6. Not one to love open showers but you have to admit the lines on this bath stall are awesome!

Good and {well}ington....

After I was greeted by some serious rain this morning {see below}, I realized my J.Crew wellies may need an upgrade....I have been craving and blogging about Hunter wellies for a while now, but Ida finally convinced me. I have decided to make them a Christmas gift choice or use my Nordstrom gift care that is burning a whole in my pocket. My only dilemma, what size 8 or 9? Does anyone own a pair?
Thank you Hurricane Ida for bringing rain and thank you Mom and Dad for letting me play outside. I may not know how to "rough it," but I can handle a little mud and hold my own when faced with three feet of water. Unstoppable {for the most part}.

{Re}gifting....

Not a redo, but regarding gifting shopbop has made it very easy. I normally abhor any gift guides, or any site telling you what to buy for a specific personality, but this is one I can live with. Maybe it's because I wish I had everything from this site....maybe because of the way it's laid out, by style, not necessarily personality. And I must admit I fall into the free spirit workaholic glamorous type...wow what a combo. It almost could be referred to as style on acid, sometimes I am amazed that I can walk into my closet and come out with a coherent ensemble....but hey the girl's got style if I do say so myself.
