.....at the Pensacola Young Professionals' Third Annual Meeting. In the past it has been held at both the Yacht and Country Club. Speakers have included Susan Story, President and CEO of Gulf Power Company and Joe Scarborough, a past state representative and host of Scarborough Country and currently Morning Joe. This year the affair will be held the third Saturday in March at the Pensacola Yacht Club beginning at 5:00pm with dinner served promptly at 6:00pm. We are excited to announce Dr. Joseph Story of the Andrews Institute as our guest speaker for the evening.
My task is planning the event.....so let's get the checklist started. The location is reserved, the speaker has been selected, the flowers are ordered, the invitations are printed....wait a minute....invitations. 600 invitations to be exact (500 memebers and roughly 100 sponsors)...oh joy! 600 to be addressed, stamped, stuffed, return addressed, and sealed all by yours truly! I completed this task in a little under 4 or 6 well I really don't want to think about the hours I spent stuffing! Here is some of my journey stuffing!
The neverending stacks of envelopes......The one thing that got me through the process....and that gets me through life on a daily basis.Notice the package of envelopes....that is only about 250 to give you an idea.Me desk littered with the treasures of the mailing madness. Notice the glue stick that saved me from licking all those dreadful envelopes. One way or the other I finished!
