A Russian......

I'm sure all of you know what a White Russian is.....but what about a Black Russian? A delicious bundt cake! I received a new recipe from a coworker and plan to try it out for our next birthday celebration. Enjoy!

Black Russian Cake

1 yellow cake mix

1 5.9 oz box instant choc pudding

1 c oil

3/4 water

4 eggs

1/2 c sugar

1/4 c Kahlua

1/4 c vodka


Glaze
1/2 c powdered sugar

1/4 c Kahlua


Preheat oven to 325ยบ.

Mix all ingredients on low speed for 1 minute then on high speed for 4 minutes.

Apparently the mixing is VERY important to the results.


Pour into greased bundt pan. (I use Baker’s Joy spray)

Bake 60 – 70 minutes.

I check mine after about 30 minutes because sometimes it looks like it’s browning too quickly and I cover it with foil. The cake rises so high you’ll think it’s about to spill over, but it doesn’t.


Cool completely.


Drizzle glaze over cake. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
