Tomorrow, tomorrow...
The sun will come out tomorrow....tomorrow is only a day away! This rainy day got me thinking about the sun and Annie songs! Look at this daily calendar it comes with twelve months, seven day names and thiry-one teeny tiny numbers to alternate. It is going on my desk-o! How cute!
Speaking of days.....another inspiring quote,"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense." Ralph Waldo Emerson

In stitches.....
Remember the retro mama eggs I posted...weellllll look at these my mom made from quilting. We need to get a cardboard egg box for display, but for now this will do.
Paper playthings....
I adore collages, paper, fabric or otherwise, and due to the fact I was unable to sleep to a decent hour this Saturday morning I find myself perusing blogs in search of a little early morning inspiration. I came across this lovely wreath. I plan to make some paper flowers today.....when I am fully caffeinated, mind you.
Be authentic.....
One of my favorite quotes....not to mention it is by Dr. Suess who happens to be a favorite author from my childhood. Oh the Thinks You Can Think........If you like this image check out Creature Comforts.

Crafty craftspeople....
Back in time.....
If only my life was.....more like 1973 (thanks John Mayer-1983). As most of you can ascertain, I adore all things vintage, and that includes photographs. Well I snagged one of my parent's college yearbooks from you guessed it '73! I love, love, love all the old photos of fashion. These photos remind me of Anthropologie, Free People, Urban, and Vogue but they are real, authentic, unstaged images of this time period and that is what makes them so magnificent. This was life. This was culture. This was. Enjoy a look back~ Has college really changed all that much? This one's for you Mike!
