The Easter egg hunt was so much fun. We carefully hid the eggs in the courtyard while the kids waited. I was quickly informed that I was hiding the eggs too difficult for a 5 year old to find (okay, maybe there was a little truth) but they did find all the eggs, except the one I had under the ledge of a table. We even found a bird's egg and I had to explain that, no, we hadn't hidden this one and there was no candy in it....hard concept for a child, especially since it was a large egg! Note to self--next year look for real eggs.
All in all very fun, but as M suggested there was a little socialism at work. The teacher split up the eggs evenly after the children found them.......sorry M, but to a 5 year old it's called fair ;) Take a look at some of the fun pictures of the hunt.
