Seven Pounds was quite possibly one of the more saddening films I have seen, the only bright spots were Rosario Dawson's wardrobe and Will Smith repairing her letterpress as a token of care.
Letterpress printing is a term for the 'relief' printing using a press with a "type-high bed", in which a reversed, raised surface is inked and then pressed into a sheet of paper. Dating back hundreds of years, this form of printing is resurfacing into modern art as craftsmen and women bring back traditional techniques to incorporate modern designs. Take a look at these lovely letterpress designs.
