No big deal. As the Pensacola Young Professionals Networking board chair it is my duty to host networking events. We host about six at the Fish House, four speed networking lunches, an annual banquet, and a variety of events along the way. Ideas? Send them my way.
Well I was extremely lucky last Thursday, I had moved the date of my pub Club up a week so as not to conflict with the Fiesta parade and it turned out in my favor. The Governor, Charlie Crist, just so happened to be in town at the location where I was hosting the event. He was there for a fundraiser as a prelude to his race for the Senate, but the owner of the Fish House, Collier Merrill was kind enough to allow him to speak with our group for a few moments. A wonderful opportunity! Thanks to all who made this happen!
