"Get you to move, all right, all right......let this groove set in your shoes!" It must be concert season in the land, 3rd concert in about three months, Hall & Oates, Panic, and this one-Earth, Wind and Fire and Chicago. I jammed out to EWF in between Sound of Music lyrics this week in preparation and was eagerly awaiting September! I am no buff on Chicago music but did enjoy their bit of the show. The two bands began the show playing EWF melodies together, then EWF came out, the Chi-town, then the two groups were back for the last three or so songs--one of which being "do you remembuh the 21st night of Septembuh??" Great show, tons of energy, but I must say I am a Widespread and Dave fan at heart and would listen to Panic three nights in a row-the energy is amazing (could be the drugs) but my naive self is going with energy!
Check out my pics from last night and this below. Yes, I must admit I am connected in more ways than I can count and The Wharf responded to my query via twitter! So excited! Follow them here.
@mariet726 Tomorrow night from 7:30 until about 11. They come out together!5:26 PM Jun 4th from web in reply to mariet726The crowd was a little bit older than me and this man in the tropical shirt (crime of fashion) to the left of the picture was extremely rude. He climbed over the seats and left his wife hanging with her water bottle to hobble over the chairs. Guys take notice and help a girl out.
