More Mari....

My love and adoration for Marimekko began with a love of bold prints and a graphic skirt I had from Anthropologie my senior year of high school. It was a bold skirt of many colors horizontal pieces of fabric layered to created an A-line skirt. I always wore it with a one shoulder sweater from J.Crew to add to the graphic effect--I wish I could still wear it!

I love the pineapples but not the overall shape, but it would be perfected with some yellow heels I have.Mari mouse pad anyone?Take note!More pining for pineapples.Another mouse pad, but I'd like to note that this print was featured in Crate and Barrel or CB2 as wall decor. The company uses a lot of Mekko prints which I love. Fabric can some times be purchased at Ikea as well.Love, love, love the fabric on this dress!!Cannot live without pocket protectors.
