Red, white, and blues....

The Blue Angels Air Show was this weekend, but I missed it. The show is amazing and I witnessed it first hand last year on Sunday after it got rained out Saturday.

Typically residents stay on the beach or leave home at 7:00am or 7:30am to wait on the beach until the show starts around 2:00pm. Well being the naive one, I assumed traffic would be no worse than Atlanta traffic, sadly I was mistaken. I waited 2.5 to 3 hours to travel a few miles and I remember arriving just on time and the flooding rain starting. We all waited patiently inside the hotel lobby for the rain to end.....it never did. But the sun came out on Sunday {for a short time at least} and the Blues flew....amazing. Here are some pictures I found via Flickr.
