Well it is summer and my fireplace was screaming for a face lift, well yesterday thanks to the fourth rainy afternoon in a row I was trapped inside my walls so I starting rearranging. The fireplace originally housed logs that my dad drilled out for tiny tea lights, but summer's here and there will be no fire, and quite frankly I thought the logs looked quite wintry and needed snow on top.

I must banish these snow thoughts from my head as it will be months before I feel 50 degrees of freedom again. Well the solution for the fireplace was this collection of wood pillars of varying heights, and a single black one, and I threw in my vintage "M" as a trademark. I can top them with candles and integrate large pillar candles amongst them for a little light. How nice.

What do you think? Should I bring the
Lincoln Randall Logs back?
