Head in the clouds...
Indian-born, British artist, Anish Kapoor looked to the sky for design when he created Cloud Gate, or The Bean, for Millennium Park in Chicago. The design was inspired by liquid mercury, once found in thermometer and stands 66 feet tall with an archway of 12 feet for visitors to traverse beneath. The curvature of the structure provides interesting photo opportunities and serves as a unique structure beside Gehry's rich work. Kapoor's other work includes the Sky Mirror, featured in Rockefeller Plaza in the early 2000's.
