This week I have felt like I was Bill Murray Groundhog Day......there has been one thing after the other since Monday. I was so looking forward to a peaceful December, but no such thing. There has been one fire storm after the other and this week....the very week before Christmas has been worse than the others. I finally forced myself to listen to Christmas music today...and 15 minutes later was prying my finger out of my car door. Yes...I slammed my finger in my door...and not a light-weight door at that. Sure I had gotten it trapped in my Escort and Pathfinder's years ago...but this was one big, honking door...the pain was not sudden so I kept walking into the store and shopped for a moment. It started throbbing a little with a sharp pain...but I proceeded to the checkout and it was at that point that I felt nauseous, became sweaty, my eyes clouded over and my ears started ringing...this feeling I knew....pass out time!! I dropped my stuff at the checkout and ran to my car. I sat for a minute contemplating calling Ms. C to come get me.....but I survived....stomaching the pain and drove to the doc-in-a-box for an Xray {chalk it up to piece of mind}. It was fine and I guess I'll know for sure if I wake up tomorrow with a finger in one piece....only time will tell.....but I surely hope this week ends soon, even though I am not ready for Christmas to be over.....tis the season.....

Groundhog Day.....
'Somebody asked me today, "Phil, if you could be anywhere in the world, where would you like to be?" And I said to him, "Prob'ly right here - Elko, Nevada, our nation's high at 79 today." Out in California, they're gonna have some warm weather tomorrow, gang wars, and some *very* overpriced real estate. Up in the Pacific Northwest, as you can see, they're gonna have some very, very tall trees.'
