Freezing in Florida....

It is extremely (read 20-something) cold outside today.....and there are snow flurries in my home town....can you believe that? I think this calls for a fire, what do you think?

Honest Abe....

If legend and history has it that honest Abe chopped down a cherry tree....I wonder how many trees it would take to fill my fireplace with wood? Don't you love the arrangement, but I think this is more heart pine than cherry and it would look rather excessive in the sunshine state, but too much is never enough, right?
