Ever wonder....
....why we drop a ball in New York and other cities on New Year's? Traditionally, ball drops were not only meant for New Year's Eve, but rather as a method to measure time and were first employed in Greenwich, England where a ball was lowered each afternoon at one so that ship captains were able to adjust their navigation accordingly. And over time, the concept traveled to New York City, and is now used to usher in the New Year. So what's your resolution?

My resolution is to be less charitable and take better care of myself. I think if everyone took care of themselves we wouldn't need to be charitable...
