Are you comfortable?

Can comfort be beautiful? Does comfort outweigh luxury? Is comfort a luxury? Are we giving up luxuries and replacing with comfort. Will we spend more comfort or luxury.....or maybe by a lux comfort item.......Many questions, but all explained by one shoe. The Ugg I myself have 5 pairs and 3 handbags by Ugg, but sadly I'm not the typical case used in the example. The fact of the matter is in these troubling economic times it seems as though constant consumers are investing in comfort and buying Uggs over new Louboutins. Sales for Ugg have climbed a whopping 57% over the last year. Overall sales of other luxury shoes are relatively flat, indicating that not many women are trading their Manolos for markdowns. They are simply not investing (and I used the term lightly) in more new shoes.

So I say to you pick up your dollar cup of McDonald's coffee and kick up your $200 Uggs....we will weather the recession.
