Home is where you choose, what you make it, what you design, and what you love. Home can be a place, thought, idea or person. Enjoy~

Yellow shutters make everything better. The window boxes are absolutely delightful, but with my lack of a green thumb they would not be a good choice.
Wall of photos and cowhide chair--yes, one day I will have one of these chairs. I can't help my odd cravings.
Statement lighting.
Love the glam chandelier with the modern bulbs. To the common eye, this light seems Gothic alone, but in this bright blue kitchen it adds a touch of whimsy, pricey whimsy, but whimsy nonetheless.
Vintage chair cover.
Colorful couch, bedding, lamps and sleek steel frame bed frame. I am definitely loving the couch as I have been in search of the perfect one for two years.
Another fave from the show was the opening Superhero by Jane's Addiction and last but not least Reelin' in the Years by Steely Dan. So this week "get familiar" with some music......
Mr. Chuck was also kind enough to share a battery of "you need to retire" reasons. He said none of them applied to me, but (of course) I begged to differ. "You know it is time to retire when you have so much vacation you could go bankrupt using it." I said I was so new that I could go bankrupt using my two weeks plus carry over. This warranted a good laugh and a few more more war stories.....love the little laughs that make the day pass....
These would make a nice change instead of shoving the bag into my MJ (Marc Jacobs, not Michael) carry-all, but then I might end up feeling like I was in elementary school (plaid L.L. Bean bag).....ahh decisions that will wait.

Well, technically I did give and bought petit fours from the perfect bakery in AL for her birthday and then some at J's here for Easter {not as good as Rolen's}, but it is all over now I think I have found the perfect solution...I just need to track down patience to make these.
