Friendly competition.....

I readily admit I can get pretty riled up from people taking my thunder or rather my event's thunder. Well the chain of events began yesterday afternoon around 3pm when I received this forward with a simple message:

On behalf of Mr. Joe Doyle (name slightly changed), please join us for the Joe Doyle Anti-Social Cocktail Hour

To each his own, but seriously, why must people steal an event's thunder. The Governor of the state will be there. Are some people just too cool for school that they must plan another event one day before the previously scheduled event? Some individuals are so incredibly mature and have failed to read an etiquette book. Can I mail anyone a Mrs. Manner's? I am keeping a positive 'tude that this event will go off with a great attendance and am not letting this little blip on the radar get me down. Bring it on!
