Do you recall.....

The most famous reindeer of all.......Halloween is over and the costumes are packed. November is upon us and in my book that spells C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S!

Thankfully I had mom help moving all my decorations here. Otherwise I don't know how eight (make that ten, post shopping) boxes and two very large trees would have ever made their way into my apartment that is somewhat out of the way.......

I have been awaiting this time of year since July. I don't know if it's the cold (cooler) weather, twinkling lights, evergreen trees, warm gloves, and of course presents that make me like this season so much! After most of my decorations arrived and were stored in the second bedroom I could not wait to get my hands on everything and begin unpacking, not to mention you could barely walk into the room.

Welcome to my blog which will be an organized mess of my decorating and creativity. At the suggestion of my mother I started this as a sounding/inspiration space for my ideas and crafts. The name "Sweet Home Wherever" comes from the idea of my birthplace and namesake song and the simple fact that Home is where you choose, what you make it, what you design, and what you love. Home can be a place, thought, idea or person. This sweet home will be mostly what I love decorating, creativity, etcetera.
