Stitched up...
Very cute Anthro invites made to resemble a shirt tag and very cute sewn-closed invites for a birthday.

Playing house....
I am getting excited, counting the hours, praying for no rain, and knowing that I am going to have a wonderful time tomorrow evening at the Dylan, Mellencamp and Nelson concert. Claire is my lucky partner in crime for the evening and afterwards she is staying with me thanks to an unexpected guest. And thanks to my guest, I was motivated to vacuum, dust, and clean my bathrooms and kitchen.....as I type my towels are drying. In the process of the cleaning caper, I found a new use for my wooden crate--a towel holder for my guest bath, while arranging towels, I continued to stock the rest of the bathroom...and here you have it.
Semi-charmed kind of life....
Things for a Thursday...
A few of my favorite things....Mom, here's the stamp holder we were clueless as to what to do with-->greeting card/photo holder.I want this retro lamp, just so you know.I adore these vintage burlap designs, the first as art and the second as a delightful chair cover {not sure how comfy, but definitely cute}.
She sells, seashells...
After a couple years on the coast under my belt, I still have not embraced the beachy decor, but after some blog browsing I found some very cute sandy accents. Love the twinkling starfish art.The shell collection arranged like rock collection...such a neat idea.Love, the art prints of shells, especially the nautilus {math geek that I am}.Some closeups.
Perfect pairings...
Love the use of these herb crates. I found one from none other than Mobile, AL, but am not sure how to use it yet.....thoughts?
Mini me...
Somehow in the process of ordering a replacement guitar, my mother and brother managed to purchase a "mini me," I guess the name baby didn't give them much of a heads up? Much to their surprise they opened the box and removed the packing materials to find a tiny guitar. I asked if it was as small as a ukulele? Nope, this Taylor is ¾ the size of the classic. My first question was, what is it for? Kids.....travel.....turns out both according to the web. Big or small, Taylor still packs a punch, but I think my bro is returning the Mini Cooper of guitars asap.
Decisions.....decisions....
An inquisitive text led me to verify my response and to make a post for any of you with this same query. Does it make a difference whether you use light or brown sugar? Well, it turns out {and yes, my guess was correct} that the main difference is the amount of molasses. Dark brown sugar contains more molasses than its lighter brethren, so it boils bakes down to a simple flavour preference. Although, I must admit that 99 times out of 100 I use light brown, dark brown would likely work well with gingerbread, or some other molasses rich dessert.

Jingle bells...
A year in the making...
Typically, I reserve seasonal decorating to only Christmas and Halloween, but after looking through these posts Easter may stand a chance. Neutral, simple, egg-cellent.
