I think I finally found a suitable solution for my wall...now all I need to do is start collecting donations because I know this beauty doesn't come cheaply.

Miss Manners.

A well-appointed table is a necessity and thanks to my movers I was informed that I have more kitchen crap things than the average bear. I have plates and silverware but according to my mum I needed napkins and such so I would not mar the antique table....and if you give this mouse a cookie she will ask for a glass of milk. I got napkins and such and am now craving more plates, glasses and napkin rings. I found these unconventional lovelies courtesy of etsy. Whatcha think? Maybe not formal enough but enjoyable.

Thank goodness for free Internet. I am beyond ready to board my flight, but have yet another two hours to kill and shop online. Thanks to anthro for giving me some shopping and decorating ideas for my white tree. Here is my selection of new ornaments for my tree that is waiting to be decked:

The first crisp fall temperatures hit sunny Florida and I am craving anthropologie's plaids and wool now more than ever. Here are some of my selections:

Ruffle my feathers.

If I had an opportunity to redo my shower curtains I would "mos def" be going to anthro or Urban for some of these. Drapes, bedding and shower curtains. Oh my.....

Fall back.

Sometimes there is little more than a pair of boots or a chill in the air that can put me in a good mood. I love these farm fresh fall looks via Country Living. They take the beachy feeling right out of me...and leaving me with a smell of pumpkins, the crunch of fall leaves and the hopes of Christmas lights twinkling in my not so near future.I need this skirt....and for those of you thinking that my wardrobe is comprised of pants and platforms, guess again. ....heeled Hunter rain boots? Yes, please.

Belated birthday!

A very merry unbirthday to me! Well it came a day late and a dollar short, but my gift from Anthropologie came and I only wish I could use it. 15% off at my favorite store, yes please....thankfully there is not one nearby, coupled with the fact that the discount had to be used in the month of July....so it looks like I will have a few extra bucks in my wallet. But....seriously how precious is the candle necklace card? Genius.

Have I told you lately how much I like Gilt. Thanks Mike for the tip! Sure the clothes are tempting but every once in a while I casually click the home tab and am utterly astonished. Who said terrariums had to be enclosed. Check out this lovely terrarium from Terrain--the newest member of the Anthropologie family. Love, but I will have to try recreating it for cheap verses the 78 bucks....then again, I might just look. I tend to not have a green thumb....well I have a lazy thumb that forgets to water plants.

Paper Trail.

I am a sucker for paper art. Have been since I was a kid...it's the one type of art that I enjoy...it keeps me entertained and my hands busy enough to stay focused. I was thrilled to happen upon David Stark on D*S. Together they created a pop up store/installation that will be open for those two days only. The (purely paper) Flower Shoppe is at the west elm store on Broadway and 62nd Street. All of the flowers, plants, gardening tools, and even the actual shop itself are made from paper created from discarded books....now that's reading between the lines....

Eight legs a week.

The next big thing: Octopus-enough said. Check out these octo-designs from Anthro. My wish is for an Octopus bangle bracelet very similar to the fork post from earlier.
I need eight legs in my life, can anyone help a gal out?

My fave Anthro home selections for the week.Maybe it's the oil in the Gulf, maybe it's the fact there was zero sun this weekend or maybe it's just summer lovin', but I adore these beauties from Anthro and there is definitely a fruit de mer theme going on.

Like a "Moss".......

Yours truly blogged about a love of moss just the other day, and what to my wondering eyes appeared but moss via Anthro's facebook page. I mean, come on, I should work there! I'm already ahead of the curve. Check out their attention to detail...even the tiny (pricey) tags are covered in teeny tiny bits of mossy goodness. It does make me a wee bit sad though.Last night following my beach trip I took down my alst mossy bits and started the dusting process....maybe the moss will resurface soon! On another note, check out this skirt. Talk about a paper trail.
