Diamonds on the soles of her shoes.

My very first crave or save...and I think it's worth it. These Mui Muis are a whopping $900

Miu Miu ankle booties

and the Steve Maddens are just shy of $200. My view is that there should not be glitter on the soles of anyones shoes (especially booties) and anyone that wears these has way too much moolah.....and on that note a song for the road.

Royal flush.....

I could care less about the fact Prince William is betrothed and Kate Middleton is being chased by paparazzi, but this vintage shot of Diana and her fab Hunter wellies is simply glorious.I can't believe I forgot to pack them as I am in the backwoods of Bama. I guess some things never go out of style.

Stud Muffin....

Hello, lover. I am obsessed with these shoes....the two bad things: Price=$200 and I cannot wear them to the office......either way......Sam Edelman, you are a genius and you are breaking my heart with these beauties.I am contemplating breaking my no pump over $100 rule......

The way we get by.

Sometimes you want to click your heels and find your way safely home....other times you just need really special shoes. Like Carrie Bradshaw said, Sometimes walking in single girls shoes is hard--that's why we need really special ones. Maybe it isn't just a single thing--sometimes girls (Me, especially!) need special shoes. Maybe it's wanting to be taller, maybe they are a booster shot to my confidence, maybe the really shiny ones brighten my day when I look down--whatever the reason they help. Look at these lovely ladies. How I adore the pink platforms, plaid pants, knotted scarf and long culottes. Happiness.Good morning, Monday. Good morning, week. Shoes--that's the way I get by--thanks, Spoon.

Like clogwork!

Oh, how I am craving some clogs or punky footwear for the fall. Love these Edelman clogs and the skinny chic cargos. Thank you, Free People, for awesome style!

Zip it.

Not sure it it's the deluge of emails littered with images of fall clothing that has me yenning for sweaters and boots or my fear and loathing of summer heat. Whatever the cause I am craving fall/winter attire and have donned jackets and black this week. Next stop--boots in July? I'm holding back, but if I had these Michael Kors beauties the story might be a tad different. Four pairs in one. Yes, please. Until fall, y'all....

Walking on sunshine!

Sweet summertime is here....for better or worse. The good--sun tans and sandals...the bads--heat, humidity and hurricanes...I could have mentioned the hazmat inducing oil-but prefer to ignore for the moment. Spawned by a shopping excursion and some serious blog perusing I am craving some monstrously tall platforms....see below. P.S. The harem pants aren't half bad either.

Graveyard shift....

I heart dinosaurs and these shoes from D Squared remind me of Sue in Chicago. Take my home to that Paradise City!

The old waman that lived in her shoe.

I've spent $40,000 on shoes and I have no place to live? I will literally be the old woman who lived in her shoes! True for Carrie Bradshaw before Big...but not so true for Jane Aldridge {Sea of Shoes} and her mom {Atlantis Home}. Check out these gorgeous photos of her home. I adore the eclectic, vintage details.

Shine on you crazy diamond.

Take a gander at this blogger's crazy footwear. Do you see the metallic heel? I had almost forgotten the shiny wedges I have stuffed in the back of my closet until I saw this photo. If you have not seen this blog, check it out now. I adore this Brit's style, very boho--Sienna Miller--Kate Moss--esque.
....now where did you get that?

Fall into The Gap.

The Gap.....the first things that come to mind are chinos and oxfords but the brand's new design collaboration with Pierre Hardy is nothing to ignore. Super-tall lace up booties and wedgies make-up the new line....no word on price range or if they will be available in stores...but I'm gearing up to own a piece of shoe history.

Such a stud.

The countdown to the lovely Carrie is on, sadly I'm not one of the fabulous few that saw it last night. I had already tried to do a midnight viewing of a Twilight flick and left before it started because I was so exhausted and the thought of standing in line for that long that late at night did not appeal to me. But Carrie might have been worth it from what I've heard...no worries though, I will soon see the flick-->this Friday to be precise and in the meantime I'm drooling over these studly Brian Atwood beauties featured in the movie....and guess what? You too can get a pair at Saks.

1 more day!!

Salad buffet....

Isn't everyone out there trying to be the next big thing and blog there way into stardom.....but this blogger is one to watch. Chic outfits, great locations and plenty of photos. Like I opened a never ending Urban Outfitters catalogue but the clothing is Chanel, Missoni and McQueen. Chic, yet not over-done. Blonde salad....I'm sold.

Seedy business....

I have a science class this morning dealing with seeds, seed dispersal....and all things nature. Browsing online I found these lovely things and could not resist posting. I definitely would not mind adding these to my collection, but I think I'm holding out for some sky high wedges, extra height is always too tempting.
How does your garden grow, huh?

Hunting for perfection.....

Have I told you how much I am in love with my green hunters lately? Nope, didn't think so. Well I am. And this photo reminded me.

Just imagine.....

I spotted the Even Cleveland blog yesterday a was in awe at all the imaginary outfits. Sure I've certainly found myself on polyvore from time to time dreaming up fantastic ensembles....but generally when I was trying to tell someone what I had worn. But this genius blogger has an entire tag group devoted to imaginary outfits complete with dreamy dialogues about each one.
Excerpt: What does one wear on a trip through the cosmos? Something comfortable and fireproof, with a supply of oxygen and rocket fuel stashed in the pockets? Something glamorous and twinkling, to try and blend in with the starry matter? I'm splitting the difference - and since I don't have to worry about jet propulsion during any portion of the evening, I can be comfortable and a little sparkly, with a beautiful rock on my finger to remind me of the home planet.

Genius, I tell you.

Good luck, Chuck.....

Loving these Chuck's via The Sartorialist.....love the effortless knit dress and draped scarf with the sporty Chucks....and please note the bike. If you want The Sartorialist to find you go buy a bike....NOW!....oh, and head to Europe while you're at it......

We are talking Marc Jacobs, Missoni, Marni, Judith Leiber, Hype and more. Hurry over there now. You do not know what you have been missing. You're wallet probably won't thank you but your wardrobe will.

Eight legs a week.

The next big thing: Octopus-enough said. Check out these octo-designs from Anthro. My wish is for an Octopus bangle bracelet very similar to the fork post from earlier.
I need eight legs in my life, can anyone help a gal out?
