Black and white....

...and red all over....I was reminded of one of my favorite artists, Mondrian, when I entered the halls of the elementary school Iwhere I volunteer. The students (rather teacher) had created a bulletin board display of Mondrian inspired drawings. I can remember a black and white composition I made in elementary school....ahhhh the good years....
Every true artist has been inspired more by the beauty of lines and color and the relationships between them than by the concrete subject of the picture.
