Oceans 13.
I cannot begin to describe my yen for fresh Gulf seafood. Frozen just want do. The only way to compensate is to fill my humble abode with all things ocean-inspired...starting with these:

Dreams do come true.
This makes me smile on a rainy day, and it most certainly has been a rainy one {literally and figuratively}.

Hair bands.
You win some. You lose some...and at the moment I am looking for cute black and white prints for my bathroom. I would prefer a vintage photo of The Beatles or to have one of my prints framed professionally, but aren't these fun. Who cares about humidity?

Wham!
Tomorrow is Monday and in every effort to stay positive and upbeat about the situation I am psyching myself up with these expressive note cards.

Resolving to change.
Sure I've never been one to make resolutions, but this year is different I would like to make some changes:
3. Find some focus.
We'll see how I stack up on these come January 2011.
1. Get organized and declutter.
2. Clean out my shrinking closet.3. Find some focus.
4. Make new friends.
5. Navigate without a GPS.6. Find a church.
7. Lose 10 pounds....and lose 10 more.8. Don't waffle {or rather improve on my indecisive tendencies}.
9. Don't be a shrinking violet.10. Drink less Diet Coke.

Listen to the music.
There happens to be a serious lack of sleep happening in my life, so I am catching up on some music and thought I'd share.

Let it snow.
The snow was bittersweet. A part of me was concerned about a lack of power. A part of me was concerned about the unknown. A part of me felt very alone. A part of me had no idea what to expect. I grocery shopped, located flash lights, charged multiple cell phones, and braced myself.
The snow came down falling against the night sky and it was wonderful. I immediately threw on boots and ran out to witness the beauty. I stayed home for two days and avoided the frosty/slushy mess....it was gorgeous and I now wish for snow every day!

Mirror, mirror.
